We are pleased to advise that the proposed Twilight Aged Care Enterprise Agreement 2016-2019 has recently been approved by the Fair Work Commission. The changes mean Twilight is now able to provide its employees with an Enterprise Agreement that is contemporary, reflects current legislation, and is flexible and supportive of staff.
The new Agreement commenced on 4 April 2017 with the following benefits to all Staff:
1. Increase to wages
All staff received a 2% pay increase, with a further 2.5% in the next and subsequent year.
2. Introduction of Annual Leave Loading
A 17.5% annual leave loading will now apply to all accrued annual leave from the commencement of the new agreement.
Staff working under the new Agreement receive the following additional benefits:
• Above Award Wages
• A Better Career Path Structure
• Increase to Supervisor’s Allowance
• Introduction of a “buddy” allowance
