Last week we had an inquiry from someone who was frustrated that we could not offer respite bookings in the way that she wanted. After discussing this with her, we invited her along to the Open Day at Glades Bay Gardens where we were able to explain things to her in more detail. She gave us permission to publish this note:
“Thanks for a lovely day at Glades Bay. The home is amazing.I would love to thank ALL staff for the time and kindness they showed Gran.The morning tea was fantastic and the smiles on every ones faces. We had a terrible time trying to get Gran to go to respite and the guilt trip that she would send us on when we did send her was terrible.Thanks to everyone on Saturday, Gran has had a major turn around and even made me go and book her in for her next respite stay so we don’t miss out when I go away in August. All I can say is you are all amazing.Thank you all.”
