If you haven’t already heard, we are delighted to officially announce that the Board has appointed Mr John Laurie as Twilight’s inaugural Patron.
John’s connection to Twilight Aged Care goes beyond his 14-year leadership contribution as Chairman and Director; the Laurie family has been a supporter of the organisation from its very beginnings when John’s mother, Kathleen Laurie was a committed volunteer.
We are very proud of 91-year-old Hunters Hill Village resident, Madeleine Doutreband, who on Australia Day this year became the proud recipient of a Randwick City Council Community Service Award. The award recognised Madeleine’s long-standing commitment to community work within the Randwick area and her dedication to helping others.
On Friday 10 March Twilight Aged Care resident of 10 years, Joan McKimm celebrated her 100th birthday at her Hunters Hill Village home surrounded by family, staff and fellow residents. The Hunters Hill Mayor, Richard Quinn and the Honourable Trent Zimmerman, Member for North Sydney also dropped by to help celebrate this auspicious occasion.
