On 5 and 6 January 2017, Glades Bay Gardens underwent their accreditation survey and demonstrated that they continue to meet all 44 expected outcomes.
Two assessors spent two days reviewing the service and quality of programs. During the summation the assessors were extremely complimentary, in particular they praised the staff on how they are able to keep residents in their home in such a beautiful way, excellent leadership and team dynamics, inspired staff, and evidence of consistent hard work.
The most impressive comment was that the care was delivered with “pure respect”, demonstrating a firm commitment to the Twilight values of Respect, Commitment, Integrity and Compassion. It was also acknowledged that Glades Bay Gardens has achieved a unique balance between providing a home and attending to the clinical needs of residents – something we are very proud of at Twilight Aged Care.
We also need to acknowledge the team at Glades Bay Gardens and offer congratulations for having organised and prepared so well, and to have successfully adhered to each of the industry accreditation standards.
