GLENGARRY FIRE SAFETY UPGRADE – 18 JUNE 2013
Work is progressing well on the installation of fire sprinklers at Glengarry. We are now into our third week of the program with work occurring on both floors of the facility. On the ground floor we are working our way through the rooms outside Eloura with core drilling completed and pipe work currently being installed. The next phase will involve core drilling in Eloura and laying pipe work throughout those rooms. We expect another three weeks of work to complete the Eloura installation. On the upper floor the construction team are working in the roof space so we expect minimal interruptions while they lay the pipe work and fit the sprinkler heads. We appreciate the patience of residents, families and staff as we undertake this necessary and important work. The building team are working well with us and accommodating our need to maintain resident care and minimising the impact of noise and dust on everyone.
