Hunters Hill Village is nestled within the village-like surrounds of historic Hunters Hill in Sydney’s northern districts. The home has a distinct community feel as we are adjoined to an existing Retirement Village and local church and we have a close relationship with the local council. The residential rooms are comfortable and spacious and the lifestyle and wellbeing program is tailored to residents’ individual needs and interests. Friendly, compassionate staff members are always on hand delivering the best of care.

Dad was very settled when I visited him yesterday. It was so lovely to see this after the trauma and disruption of his hospital stay (I wonder if the adjustments to his medication is helping).
We were chatting and he had some very lucid moments, here is some of what he said…
“I feel uplifted here…People treat you like a person. I like it here…Sometimes I get bored or lonely but people are good…And treat you as a person…There is respect.”
He was smiling widely as he said these things. So please share this with your team. And I offer my sincere thanks for your care of my dear father, it is wonderful he is able to verbalise his feelings.
I hope you had a good weekend.
With much gratitude,
Nina
My Aunt Shirley, aged 96, entered Twilight Hunters Hill six months ago, before she moved to Canberra to be closer to her family.
Both she and I could not speak highly enough about the kindness and loving concern shown by all the staff, led by the ever happy and helpful Mari.
Shirley’s room was lovely and large, with tranquil views onto trees and the position in Hunters Hill was attractive and quiet. Shirley developed a strong bond with the staff and visiting medical team at Hunters Hill and they were enormously kind and affectionate to her. There is a very happy and special team atmosphere at Twilight and the staff seem to have coped admirably without complaint about all the additional work caused by COVID testing, registering onsite, etc.
When Shirley left Hunters Hill the staff gave her the fondest of farewells, and lots of tears were shed on both sides.
We are pleased she is now with us here, but we could not have asked for better care than she received in her stay at Twilight, and she misses all of you as great deal. Thank you so much for everything you did for Shirley and for us, you were amazing.
