LORRAINE LOVITT

Chair

Lorraine Lovitt is the Chair of Twilight Aged Care and Leader, NSW Falls Prevention Program with the Clinical Excellence Commission and a Graduate and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Lorraine was appointed Chair of Twilight Aged Care in July 2016, and has been a Director for 12 years. She is a Registered Nurse with a Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology, and has significant experience in the public and private health sectors in particular within aged care.

MR HAROLD MORGAN

CHAIRMAN, CAPITAL PROJECTS STEERING COMMITTEE

Harold is a trained quantity surveyor and has 40 years’ experience as a project manager running his own companies in a variety of industries across aged care, residential and commercial. Harold is also a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (MAIPM). He is the Chairman of the Twilight Aged Care Capital Projects Steering Committee.

MR PETER LEPPARDE

DIRECTOR

Peter is a senior insurance executive with over 45 years’ experience in a wide range of insurance roles. He is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker and holds a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance, Graduate Certificate of Applied Science, Diploma of Financial Services Broking and a Masters in Dispute Resolution. Peter is an Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and a member of the Australian Institute of Directors and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Governance. He is a member of the Twilight Aged Care Audit and Risk Committee.

MR HUGH DONALDSON

DIRECTOR

Hugh has spent his career in the finance industry, including fifteen years working in Tokyo, London and New York for JBWere & Goldman Sachs JBWere. Hugh’s roles included Manager Fixed Income in Sydney; Chief Representative in Tokyo for JBWere, Vice President of the New York office, and Managing Director of the UK Frankfurt office. In 2006 Hugh returned to Sydney where he co-founded boutique investment management business Donaldson Burston, specialising in capital placement and white label funds management. Hugh holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney and additional financial market qualifications.

MR DAVID MILLER

DIRECTOR

David Miller is a board member for Twilight. David is a lawyer and partner in Sydney firm Colin Biggers & Paisley where he specialises in product liability litigation. In June 2017, David was appointed by the Commonwealth Minister for Revenue and Financial Services as an ad hoc member of the Insolvency Practitioner Disciplinary Committee. He also currently sits on the Professional Conduct Committee and the Ethics Committee of the Law Society of NSW.

NEIL WENDT

CEO

Neil Wendt has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW, is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He has extensive experience in project management, strategic planning and operations leadership. Previously, Neil has held leadership roles in both the private and public sector.

Neil is passionate about aged care and as well as the unique boutique model of care provided by Twilight.

STAR DANG

FACILITY MANAGER – HORTON HOUSE

Star Dang has extensive experience in health care. She has worked as the National Clinical Educator travelling nationally to deliver training and education to registered nurses across Australia working in aged care. She has worked with several universities as a clinical facilitator for undergraduate registered nurses and has worked as the RTO manager delivering education and training to health professionals. Star has a certificate IV in training and assessment, change management and is currently undertaking an executive MBA.

GLADYS MASEKO

MANAGER CLINICAL GOVERNANCE AND INNOVATION

Gladys has 18 years’ experience as a nurse, 12 of those within aged care in Australia. She is currently studying a Master of Advanced Practice in Nursing. Gladys also holds a Master of Applied Management in Nursing, a Diploma of Business Management, and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and is a Registered Nurse.

SAI DUVVURU

FACILITY MANAGER – GLADES BAY GARDENS

Sai has worked in the aged care industry for 11 years and has been a Registered Nurse for 12 years. She is currently studying for her Masters in Nursing through Charles Stuart University. She has extensive knowledge within the industry and a passion to create a friendly and home-like environment for all residents to thrive.

JUVY BULURAN

FACILITY MANAGER – GLENGARRY

After graduating from the University of Technology Sydney, Juvy served as a Registered Nurse at Southern Cross Care, Mary Potter Nursing Home and Sydney South Western Area Health Services. Currently, she is the Facility Manager at Glengarry Twilight and is very proud of her diverse and experienced team, who bring a family feel to the home.

SIMANGELE DLODLO

FACILITY MANAGER – HUNTERS HILL VILLAGE

Simangele ‘Sima’ Dlodlo is a dedicated and hardworking Registered Nurse with a strong work ethic and core values. Sima believes in establishing a high quality of care through a compassionate ‘home-like’ environment. By mentoring staff, she has found she can established a community of support in Twilight and develop a family model of care.

MARTIN PENGILLY

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Martin is a chartered accountant and came to Twilight with experience in senior financial and executive roles. More recently, he has used this experience helping organisations protect vulnerable and aged clients. Martin brings a new commercial perspective to Twilight seeks to make an impact with strategic ways to improve performance while maintaining the compassion of a care model.
