Role of Volunteers in Focus

Twilight Aged Care is lucky to have some wonderful volunteers to support residents and staff. As we look to build our current volunteer program this year, we bring you some recent highlights of ways our volunteers are enriching lives at Twilight:

We welcome back our ‘friends’ Harris Kim and her husband, Andrew Kim from Christmas break; they are both volunteers at Jamieson House and now join us at the Hunters Hill Village home.

Harris and Andrew come every Saturday to play the piano and sing with the residents. Other volunteers will also be joining Hunters Hill Village as they return from the Christmas break.

We are also pleased to have the continued support of Gay Walsh who comes in to Glades Bay Gardens each Wednesday afternoon to play piano and have a sing-along with the residents.

Volunteers will carry out an important and active role in facilitating a new lifestyle and leisure program at Glengarry. The home values its current volunteers highly and is keen to welcome some new volunteers commencing in 2017.
