The building is fully accessible by lifts and covered walkways.

FACILITY MANAGER – RAMILA POKHAREL

Ramila is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience in the aged care sector and 12 years experience in senior management roles. She has a particular interest in mentoring staff and supporting staff development.

Ramila finds working in aged care extremely rewarding and enjoys developing relationships and providing emotional support to residents.

Ramila I would just like to express my appreciation to you and all the staff for the wonderful care and support you give to Phillip. Nothing is too much trouble . If I need assistance to walk him or take him outside they immediately help me. They are so friendly, they greet me by name and always answer any queries I may have.They always have time for me. I am so pleased with the resident to staff ratios. When I inspected other care homes the staff numbers were not nearly so good. The staff at Glengarry are very special, they are so caring and Phillip is always smiling in their company .They are always so supportive and go out of their way to make him happy. Dear Neil , I was the solicitor for and close family friend of the late Natalka Burke who passed away 9 days ago. I had been visiting Natalka for over 2 years at Glengarry and I came to know the staff quite well. However once Ramila was appointed Manager of Glengarry things began to run very smoothly . Ramila actioned every request immediately and called in to report to Natalka and I as to what progress had been made . Not only was she diligent but she was a very good listener to the residents concerns . She is also a most compassionate woman . A big thank you to all the staff for looking after Mum so well; she remains very mobile, stable, and in good general health. I know it is not something that is easily achieved and requires a lot of effort, dedication, and kindness from all the staff. In addition, I want to note that Mum's room has been kept lovely and clean, please pass on my appreciation to the staff that help with cleaning & laundry - it is always clean and presentable.
